Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and Inclusion
At Atrium Health, we are driven by our mission to improve health, elevate hope, and advance healing – for all. By creating an environment where differences are valued and inclusion is a way of life – where the care we deliver is truly “for all”.
To fulfill this responsibility, we constantly strive to be an inclusive, diverse, and respectful workplace. As our workforce becomes more diverse, Atrium Health becomes a stronger organization. We are able to provide more culturally competent and sensitive care, better serving our communities that rely on us.
As an academic program, we are committed to promoting the diversity, equity, and inclusion of all teammates and excelling in education that promotes the management of the complex health needs of our aging and diverse communities. The Diversity and Inclusion education is an essential part of our CORE Curriculum delivered to all APP Fellows that will seek to inform and address the limited healthcare access and disproportionately poor health outcomes of minority groups.
